Post-surgery stories

We want to introduce you to some of the children who have had SDR over the past few years so you can see for yourself some of their amazing progress.  One of the main aims of Support4SDR Wales is to continue to support families after SDR since that is when the hard work really starts.

After fundraising for the surgery itself it can be hard for families to seek further financial support from those that have already helped them reach the goal of having SDR.  And for all children the therapy available from the NHS is not enough to help them reach their full potential, and maintain acquired skills and strength over time.  This is where Support4SDR Wales hopes to be able to help, by providing financial support in the form of direct payments to qualified therapists that families choose.

I hope you are as inspired to read these stories as we are!
